TITO LOREFICE
He has acted in, written, and directed puppet plays, stage plays, operas, animated films, performances, and video installations. He created the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Puppet Theater at the National University of San Martín, Argentina. He is a co-founder of the UNSAM Puppet Company. He has published plays and puppet theater works. He taught puppet acting for 18 years at the "Ariel Bufano" School in Buenos Aires. He has received several international awards for his individual and group work. In 2018, he received the "Javier Villafañe" Lifetime Achievement Award. He currently directs and teaches the core course Contemporary Puppetry at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, China.

He has directed, acted, given workshops and/or lectures in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Uruguay, Mexico, USA, Canada, Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Israel, India and China.
