PIE Group: An Interdisciplinary Experimental Project

Since its founding in 2013, PIE Group has established itself as a space for research and creation at the intersection of performing arts and new technologies. With operational centers in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Veneto (Italy), and Barcelona (Spain), our work focuses on media hybridization, interactive design, and the visual power of video mapping.

Under the direction of Sebastian Martin Pascual and Alejandra D'Agostino—multimedia artists and postgraduate researchers at the National University of the Arts (UNA)—the group integrates artistic experimentation with the technical expertise of stagecraft, allowing us to develop comprehensive projects for the international contemporary scene.

Our Recent Work:

 

Heritage Interventions: Large-scale video mapping projects at the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Decorative Arts, and the National Historical Museum.

 

International Circuit: Notable participation in the 10th Castelfranco Veneto Jazz Festival (Italy), creative residencies in Barcelona with Jordi Bertrán's company and at Centquatre-Paris (France).

Awards and Recognition: Winner of the Javier Villafañe Award for Best Experimental Theatre Performance and multiple nominations in Multimedia Design and Musical Composition.

We have a logistics base and state-of-the-art equipment in Europe (including a 10,000-lumen projector), which positions us as strategic partners for festivals and cultural centers seeking technological innovation and artistic excellence.
